This case study outlines the objectives, process and solutions we’ve designed and developed in creating the ScandiTV brand.
A company that came to us with an idea.
Novoa Media was asked to identify mission, demographics, competitors and trends to create compelling branding, positioning and visual architecture. We were set with the task of creating a comprehensive style guide for all company marketing and advertising collateral.
We formulated a concept expanding across multiple mediums including print, broadcast, and web to deepen engagement of channels. This was controlled by a custom crafted logo, imagery, and contemporary color palette to elegantly display a modern ambiance for the brand and all products.
We built a complete brand identity ground-up, using creative design solutions to showcase programs, packages, and to offer service promotions targeting the Scandinavian community and Scandinavian entertainment enthusiasts in the US. Facilitating brand constancy and guidelines across all products, maintaining logo, key fonts, color pallets, and illustration continuity.
Logo and relevant geographical elements were merged to create an energetic flow, captivating the brand and creating the network title sequence. The title sequence is showcased prior to each movie, news or program broadcast played on the ScandiTV television network, ensuring the branding to the user experience.
Our digital responsibilities included the branding and website building from concept to development. A distinct style was implemented giving the network its identity. An organized user interface displays all products and network channels on a single panel to ensure an easy to identity, navigate and purchase experience to the customer. The website was coupled with a strategic email campaign for integral success.
We delivered marketing print collateral that embodies the overall brand concept. We targeted promotional materials, direct mail, business card design, and office stationary to build loyalty and drive new customer retention.
Novoa Media defined and developed full branding, positioning and creative direction for ScandiTV as well as launched the website containing program packaged multi-level sign-up functions, product offerings, and marketing materials. ScandiTV is now the No.1 provider of Scandinavian television channels and movies for adults and children in North America and is dedicated to providing the best in entertainment and increasing media and cultural exchanges between Scandinavia and the Americas.
